Connect A Load LLC, and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Connect A Load Operations LLC”) respect your privacy. This Global Privacy Notice (this, “Notice”) is global in nature and explains how Connect A Load LLC collects and processes personal information obtained via its websites, application software, and mobile apps.

References to “website(s)” include CONNECTALOAD.COM, CONECTAR.AI, TICKETVP.AI, and any other website produced, managed, and maintained by Connect A Load LLC.

References to “mobile apps” include Connectar Advantage LLC® Mobile Application, TicketVP Web Application and any other mobile application produced, managed, and maintained by Connect A Load LLC.

Updates to Our Privacy Notice

This Notice describes Connect A Load LLC’s current data protection policies and practices. We reserve the right to update it periodically. When we do, we will indicate in this section when it was most recently updated and why the changes were made.

This Global Privacy Notice was last modified January 2024 for increased compliance with global laws and regulations, updating our methods of processing, updating our categories of third parties.

Connect A Load LLC processes personal information only according to applicable laws and regulations and only where we have an appropriate legal basis to do so. Depending on the jurisdiction where personal information is collected and processed, examples of legal bases that Connect A Load LLC may rely on include when:

Carriers/Drivers – Professional contact information; driver contact information; business financial information; government identification; geo-location data beginning four (4) hours prior to a load pickup and throughout the duration of transit when you use our mobile apps; usernames and passwords used to access Connect A Load LLC resources; IP address; device ID; statistical information; survey responses; and/or social media identifiers when carriers/drivers contribute on our platform(s)

Applicants for Employment, Contractors and/or Contingent Workers – Contact information; professional reference contact information; professional social media public profile data from professional sites (e.g., LinkedIn); previous employment, education, and industry certifications; browsing data from our careers site (e.g., IP address, website statistics, browsing preferences, clickstream data, etc.); diversity, equity, and inclusion data; fitness to work certifications; results of background checks; candidate survey feedback

Connect A Load LLC collects information about you from various sources striving to only collect the minimum amount of personal information necessary to achieve the purpose of collection.

Carriers/Drivers – Provide requested information, products, and services; provide effective customer service; facilitate payments; provide credit for services; geo-location data, beginning four (4) hours prior to a load pickup and throughout the duration of transit; communicate and coordinate shipment status information; comply with customer security requirements; provide insights into shipment characteristics, strategies, route efficiencies, and allocation of transportation assets; utilize remarketing campaigns using online behavioral advertising techniques; contact carriers/drivers with special offers and other information we believe may be of interest; contact carriers/drivers with information and notices related to the use of our products and services; invite carriers/drivers to participate in surveys and provide feedback; improve our products and services; develop new products and services; optimize our business operations; understand, improve, and troubleshoot the effectiveness of our application software, websites, and mobile applications; and/or enforce any commercial agreement(s)

 

 

Applicants for Employment, Contractors and/or Contingent Workers – Contact applicants, contractors, and/or contingents regarding possible employment; process applications; determine eligibility for employment; keep applicants, contractors, and/or contingents about future roles we think may be of interest; improve our talent acquisition process; drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; and/or report on diversity and equity when required by local laws and regulations

 

 

Information We May Share

Connect A Load LLC does not sell personal information nor share personal information in unexpected or unlawful ways. However, there may be instances where we share information because we are legally or contractually required to do so, or in instances where it is necessary to perform certain services and support our business functions.

The personal information Connect A Load LLC may share with third party service providers is encompassed by the section of this notice titled “Categories of Personal Information We May Collect.”

How We Respond to Requests Related to your Personal information

Connect A Load LLC will not discriminate against you for exercising rights related to your personal information. Subject to applicable laws and regulations, we promptly process, and where necessary, respond to requests related to the use and processing of personal information.

Please note that in some instances, we may need to ask you for additional information to verify your identity, especially when we receive requests from an individual acting on behalf of another as an authorized agent

In some instances, we may be obligated to limit or deny your request if we have a lawful justification for doing so, such as a legal obligation to maintain the personal information.

 

 

Data Retention

Subject to applicable laws and regulations, Connect A Load LLC takes steps to ensure that the personal information we collect and process about you is retained for only as long as it is necessary for the original purpose for which it was collected. After this period, it will be deleted or in some cases anonymized.

International Data Transfers
Subject to applicable global laws and regulations, Connect A Load LLC transfers to and stores data in the United States.

As such, we take appropriate safe-guarding measures as required by law.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track Signals

Connect A Load LLC recognizes the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) emitted from California residents’ web browsers, as well as GPC signals from other jurisdictions which require Connect A Load LLC to do so. GPC is a setting you can enable in your web browser to communicate your privacy preferences for not having certain information about your webpage visits collected across websites. Connect A Load LLC does not currently act in response to Do Not Track signals. Some browsers may transmit “do not track” signals to websites with which the browser communicates. Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they are even aware of them. Connect A Load LLC does not currently take action in response to these signals.
